Immersive. Experiential. Direct.

October 23-25 - Wind Hill Farm - Loudon, New Hampshire

Real conversations. Real experiences. Grounded breakthroughs.

Space. Challenge. Clarity. Connection.

Come home to yourself.

Why This Is Different

Interrupt the Pattern

This is designed to help you experience something differently, not spend another weekend merely understanding why you do it.

Experience, Not Theory

You’ll have opportunities to notice patterns as they happen, try something different, and see what actually changes

Small Enough to Be Personal

An intimate group means real access, real interaction, and nowhere to disappear into the crowd.

Built for Real Life

The weekend doesn’t end when you leave the farm. The integration session exists because we know the hard part is Monday morning.

Your Weekend Experience

Three days designed to create space, get honest, and help you return with clarity.

FRIDAY: ARRIVE & RESET

Settle in, disconnect, and step out of the noise of everyday life.

SATURDAY: GO DEEPER

Engage in honest conversations and powerful experiences that reveal what’s really happening beneath the surface.

SUNDAY: INTEGRATE & RETURN

Make meaning of the weekend, clarify what comes next, and leave with momentum you can actually carry home.

Man, you gave me permission to stand up for myself! I can’t thank you enough for showing me something I never knew was inside of me.

- Nathaniel

WE KNOW THE HARD PART IS MONDAY MORNING.

We know the weekend is powerful. But real change happens when you apply it to your real life.

Your retreat includes a complimentary 60-minute post-retreat integration session with Alan and/or Betsy to help you carry the work forward.

MEET YOUR GUIDES

Alan Sabin

LEAD FACILITATOR

CERTIFIED MENTAL HEALTH LIFE COACH | TRANSFORMATIONAL COACH | GROUP FACILITATOR

For more than 23 years, Alan has been committed to understanding how fear, shame, grief, anger, limiting beliefs, and protective behaviors can quietly separate people from who they really are. His work blends emotional processing, body-based awareness, limiting-belief work, experiential exercises, and honest human connection—helping people recognize what they’ve been carrying, challenge patterns that no longer serve them, and begin showing up more authentically.

Before becoming a coach, Alan spent more than three decades in technical and enterprise business roles, giving him a grounded understanding of the pressures, responsibilities, and adaptations many men carry into the room. He is the creator of The Way Home Is Through The Journey™ and leads the core work throughout the weekend.

Betsy Bilhorn

EQUINE FACILITATED COACH

Betsy brings more than three decades of executive and leadership experience, along with more than 10 years of Equine Facilitated Coaching. Her role in the retreat is complementary: she guides the equine portion of the experience, using horses to help participants notice in real time where they may be adapting, performing, or masking rather than showing up as themselves.

Horses respond immediately to things like posture, movement, attention, hesitation, and consistency. That makes it easier to notice the gap between what you intend to communicate and what you may actually be communicating.

Betsy helps participants recognize that gap, experiment with something different, and discover what changes.

Each room price includes the retreat + lodging.

RETREAT + STAY

Limited to just six men, this retreat is intentionally intimate — giving everyone meaningful time with Alan and space for real connection.

Everyone stays on-site at Wind Hill Farm, where the experience continues over coffee, around the firepit, in the hot tub, or talking late into the evening.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach out to alan@alansabin.com if you have any questions about the retreat.

No. This retreat is a coaching and experiential personal-growth experience, not psychotherapy or mental-health treatment. The work can be personal and meaningful, but you remain in control of your participation and may pause or opt out of an exercise at any time.

No. You’ll be encouraged to show up honestly and engage fully in the experience, but you will never be forced to share something you’re not ready to discuss. You decide what you share, when you share it, and how deeply you participate.

The weekend combines facilitated conversations, individual and group exercises, time outdoors, and guided equine experiences on the ground. Some work happens as a group and some individually. You’ll be invited to participate fully, but nothing depends on performing, having the “right” answer, or sharing something you don’t want to share.

Not at all. No prior horse experience is required, and there will be no riding. All equine work takes place on the ground with calm, experienced horses in a guided setting.

This is a moderately active weekend. Participants should expect periods of walking, standing, movement, and outdoor activity throughout the retreat.

Come comfortable and ready to move. Much of the retreat will involve walking, standing, experiential exercises, and time outdoors, so casual, weather-appropriate layers are best. Bring sturdy shoes or boots that are comfortable for walking around the farm.

If you are sensitive or allergic to horses, please come prepared with any over-the-counter allergy medications you normally use and consult your healthcare provider if you have concerns about participating safely.

Complete the reservation form and indicate your preferred room option. Because the retreat is limited to six men, rooms are limited and assigned based on availability. Alan will personally confirm your place and room selection before payment is finalized.

Once your place is confirmed, you will receive an invoice. Payment is due in full at registration or no later than 30 days before the retreat. Credit card payment is required.

Cancellations made within 7 days of the retreat are non-refundable. Any additional cancellation terms will be provided at registration.

Once registered, you’ll be contacted to schedule your complimentary 30-minute pre-retreat session with Alan. This conversation is designed to help you arrive with greater clarity, intention, and readiness for the weekend.

You already know if something in your life no longer fits.

You can keep carrying what got you here—or decide this is the moment something changes.

You don’t need another year thinking about becoming more authentic, grounded, or fully yourself.

You need an experience powerful enough to interrupt the pattern.

If something in you says, “I need this,” listen.
